Healthy Noles members are required to receive extensive education and training through a semester-long training program, the Peer Health Leadership Certificate program. This program discusses the scope and depth of current health issues on college campuses, examines philosophy and theoretical models of peer education and peer advocacy and strengthens student understanding of prevention and programs. Other topic areas that are covered include alcohol, tobacco, sexual violence, nutrition, fitness, sexual health and eating disorders. The program is offered in fall and spring semesters.
